WWW: In which language to blog? Oder: In welcher welcher Sprache bloggen?

You may have noticed that I have started blogging in English. People complained that they cannot read the blog in German. Analysing the target group I have to notice that most potential readers at least understand English if not even are native speakers.
I cannot provide the postings in German and in English, because the effort would be so high letting the content suffer. And I definitely do not trust translation programs by now.

So here is my solution: Thoughts I would like to provide to the broadest audience possible will be posted in English. More personal experiences where I make heavy use of language are still posted in German.
What do you think about this approach? I hope that the usability will still be ok.

Bestimmt ist Ihnen aufgefallen, dass ich angefangen habe auf Englisch zu bloggen. Das liegt daran, dass zum Beispiel das Thema Organizational Network Analysis in Amerika eine große Zielgruppe hat, allerdings nicht hier in Deutschland (wir hier leben schlechthin in der ona-Steinzeit). Außerdem vermute ich, dass die meisten Leser Englisch verstehen.

Da ich es zeitlich nicht schaffe, auf Deutsch und Englisch zu schreiben - es geht ja schließlich um den Inhalt -, gehe ich einen Mittelweg: Gedanken, die ich der breitestmöglichen Lesergruppe zugänglich machen möchte, werde ich auf Englisch posten. Beiträge, in denen es mir auf Ausdruck, sprachliche Spielerein und Subtilitäten ankommt, poste ich auf Deutsch.
Was denkt Ihr darüber? (Bitte schlagt keine Textübersetzungsprogramme vor, da habe ich noch kein Vertrauen :-)). Ich hoffe sehr, dass die Usability nicht zu stark leiden wird.
